What is the Community of Practice?

The Community of Practice (CoP) in data sharing is a group of people and organizations who work together to develop and implement data space initiatives in various sectors. They collaborate to create and use the blueprint and building blocks that make up data spaces.

Europe is proving to be a vibrant landscape for various data space initiatives, and the DSSC will be monitoring their development and impact on the data economy. Initially, the DSSC will prioritize data space projects funded by the EU, but later plans to expand its scope to include other initiatives. Activities

The Community of Practice is the key driver of developing data spaces. The community is central to co-creating the data space blueprint and related DSSC assets. To support this collaboration, the DSSC organizes online and onsite events where members of engaged data space initiatives can meet regularly. Additionally, the DSSC provides a discussion forum and collaboration platform to facilitate communication and co-creation.

To maintain a consistent flow of communication and collaboration, the community follows a steady heartbeat of regular interactions and events, which are organised by the DSSC.
